Part 2—A Vibey Vintage Gift Guide
Because everything in the first one sold out so fast, here are 35+ more chic + clever + weird ways to say it with VINTAGE🔥.
Friends, if you dropped in here two weeks ago, you know that my first Vibey Vintage gift guide—created in partnership with my pal Leo over at Schmatta Mag—was a very big hit. So much so that within a day or two, nearly everything had sold out. (I actually went back a few hours after posting to grab the vintage pumpkin satin Prada pouch, and alas it was GONE, but, here’s an alluring, more practical backup…with a red satin interior 👀! in case anyone needs/wants.)
Such is life on the vintage market/thrifting/second-hand front—if you snooze, you lose. And if, perchance, another Vibey Vintage guide happens to land in your in-box, well then the “gently used” Gods are most certainly smiling down on you. So, in my lifelong attempt to keep my favorite people annoyingly abundant with vintage treasure options, I’ve assembled another follow-up guide right here to give you loads of one-of-kind, atypical ideas as you progress along on your gift-sourcing journey.
Much of this stuff is pulled straight from my Saved/Faves folders across a panoply of second-hand sites. In some cases, I’m adding in a few new alternatives—slightly less vibey because they haven’t rattled around someone else’s life for a spell, but still cool if you’re dying for one of these vintage things and it sells out before you get to it. (Speaking of new, I have a handful of wonderful things stocked up in my ShopMy Closet with even more gifts as well if you feel like a lookey:).
And, before we get into it…
Thanks to everyone who shared/dropped a comment on last week’s ATA about my other tiny NYC apartments in the ‘90s…it warmed my heart so much to share it with you and to hear some of your young-in-NY stories, too.
