CHRISTENE. This little film brought actual tears to my eyes -- you're spectacular, and everything you said just so deeply encapsulates all my feelings about thrifting (who knew I had so many feelings about thrifting?) I loved it, beginning to end.

Sarah! Your words mean so much to me...I had no idea thrifting meant so much to me, too! I've become so sentimental and emo in my old age....I just love that it helps us to remember, appreciate and somehow keep the soul of something or someone alive in a way that is spaceless/timeless. Thank you for watching/reading and being here:)

This short film …. I can‘t wait for the long version. A new picture in my head …. Tinkerbell on my shoulder whispering to me when deciding what to buy …. makes me dream and laugh and cry at the same time. Life is too short to be wasted at stuff that mean nothing. Learned that today from you! Thank you so much! 🙏🏻

“Pay attention to what you are drawn to.” There is so much wisdom in this film, I’m going to be watching on repeat, Christene. Really touched me. And the idea of Tinkerbell 🧚 as a ‘tiny whisperer’ on our shoulder is just so sweet. Loved the apartment tour! The perfect complement to the Substack Originals piece. Your tiny apartment is a display of your expansive imagination. xx

An hour long edit of ATA! Yes please! Can’t wait to watch. And what an immense skill of the producer and filmmaker to make you feel at home in this interview. That is so rare and special and I’m so glad it felt this way. 💚

Thank you Jess! When the camera person zoomed in that close, I was like, WHOA, eeek! You sure that's gonna look okay?? And they were like, "ummm, we got this." They were so right, too. Thank you for watching and always for being here:)) ✨

I STILL REMEMBER how early you were to thrifting but also to circularity awareness in general. You were a spark to my own awareness. For this and many other reasons: so happy + grateful! XX

That is so kind of you to say...what began from necessity has blossomed into an ongoing meditation...communing with second-hand coolness whenever I can! xxCb
