In 2013 I was at a small reception before a fancy dinner as part of the World Cup race week. I was standing there, chatting with friends when I turned and saw Miuccia Prada. As a die-hard Prada fan, seeing her was as magical as seeing Jackie Kennedy on my first trip to NYC. Miuccia looked around, turned, and walked back to the elevator. I followed her just to look more closely at what she was wearing. It was incredible!!

I sadly let go of my first two pairs of Prada shoes from 1997? 1998? The silk bamboo era. My feet grew in meno. I cried. Over the years I bought a couple of pair too big - a navy velvet with black crystals from the Roman legionnaire period and the floral Mary Jane from the shop links. They now fit! But, I rarely wear heels so they are just lovely pieces of art. Thanks so much for the new review and your interpretations. I’m so game to try. Such amazing combos! ❤️
